Day 2 of 5 in Peru and Columbia

Today Victoria and Daniel continued their visit to Peru and Columbia. They started the day before 7:30 am with a visit to Volvo Trucks. They next visited the Next Cancer Institute (INEN) where they visited with children. Victoria surprised the press by pulling out books out of her bag by Astrid Lindgren, who is the Swedish author who wrote Pippi Longstocking, and is Victoria's favorite children's author. Finally the finished their public tour with a walking tour of historic Lima. They ate lunch with the Mayor of London before heading to Cartagena, Columbia.
Victoria wore a dress from ASOS's maternity line which she either had made custom or shortened on her own (meaning she had her tailor do it... although picturing Victoria hemming her own dress makes me smile). She started the day in a heels, but then she later changed into sensible flats from TOD's. Her pumps may come from Rizzo, but I haven't seen a better photo of them to be sure.  Her earrings and necklace come from Kreuger Jewellery. She also appears to have a new clutch which appears to be a large white flap bag.

Victoria honors Folke Bernadotte

Yesterday Victoria held a audience at the Royal Palace as well as attended an exhibit honoring Folke Bernadotte.

Victoria wore her silver jacket from Mayla over a white dress. She wore her Miu Miu pumps again and carried her By Malene Birger clutch. Her bracelet is from Kreuger Jewellery and her earrings I believe are from Chaumet, a pair she has had for quite some time.

The Posse is Back Together!

Today the entire royal family, minus Chris and the grandkids, attended the opening of parliament!

Madeleine flew in from London for this occasion and returned to London this evening, missing the traditional attendance at the Royal Opera House.

Let's get right down to fashion and jewels (because that is what this blog is about and I still need to eat dinner before my class!). Note- dress code for the opening of parliament is black and white- hence the outfits!

Queen Silvia wore a black jacket over what imagine to be a black suit. Her shoes appear to be Salvatore Ferragamo. She wore a pair of pearl and diamond earrings from the Bernadotte collection as well as the Diamond and Pearl Ivy brooch which can be dated all the way back to Queen Victoria. For the performance this evening she traded her black suit for what appears to be a navy gown.
Funny enough the blue velvet coat she wore over it upon arrival she has had since 1977! Check out this magazine scan I have of her wearing it back then!

Which coat appearance did you like better?
Crown Princess Victoria re-used her Milly Jacket from when she attended Parliament while pregnant with Estelle, honestly that is what I expected her to do. She carried a clutch from Hunkydory. Her earrings are from Kreuger Jewellery.

For the performance this evening, she also re-used her short Adrianna Papell dress from earlier in the year.

Sofia attended parliaments opening for the first time as an official princess, last year it was a few short months after being engaged!
For the Opening of Parliament she wore a black and white jacket from Maje and carried a clutch from Hunkydory.

Later in the evening, she changed into a blue sleeveless dress from Ole Yde which she wore a black cape from Viktoria Chan over. Her shoes come from Jimmy Choo.

Princess Madeleine is last up in our review.
She wore a jacket from Paule Ka today over a black Paule Ka dress.

Mette Marit and Victoria tackle the Climate Walk

This past Saturday, Victoria and Mette Marit joined together to walk part of the climate walk which is headed to Paris in December. I have said many times how Victoria is deeply involved in the climate discussion around Sweden and has an interest in the subject which she shares with her father, the King.

They pair started in Norway and walked across a bridge into Sweden where Mette Marit handed Victoria the "baton", a bottle of water. They finished their time together with a prayer service in Strömstad church.

I have no ID's on either of Victoria's outfits except the shoes and jewelry. Her white sneakers are from Adidas and her ballet flats are TOD's. Her necklace and earrings are from Kreuger Jewellery.

As a side note: I have moved back into school this week so please be patient with me and my postings as I adjust and figure out when I have time to blog.

Victoriadagen Review

I appologize for this post coming almost 2 weeks after Victoriadagen happened but I was away. I am back now (for a short time before I leave again for a week or so) so here is a quick recap of what was worn at Victoriadagen 2015.

Sofia wore a dress from Karen Millen, a jacket from Moncler which I suspect she borrowed from Madeleine, and pumps from ACNE.

Madeleine wore a new jacket from Blumarine and a pair of heels from Givenchy which she has had for a while. This was Madeleine's first public engagement since giving birth to Prince Nicolas.

When attending the concert, Victoria wore the traditional Öland dress with earrings from Kreuger Jewellery.
However when she greeted the people at Solliden Slott she wore a new Ralph Lauren Dress, a pair of gold hoop earrings from Sophie by Sophie, a bracelet from Kreuger Jewellery, and shoes which come from H&M.

Which outfit was your favorite?

Victoria in Portugal

After just finishing a state visit in Sweden, Crown Princess Victoria has jetted to Portugal to complete a 2 day visit there in Lisbon. She is taking part of the Volvo Ocean Race and Blue Week.

Victoria wore her Preen dress and carried her white Ralph Lauren bag. Her shoes are By Malene Birger and earrings and bracelet are Kreuger Jewellery.

UPDATE: Victoria changed before she went to see the Swedish team at the Ocean Race. She is wearing a new purple dress from Prada and her Yves Saint Laurent Sandals. She wore new Shourouk earrings (thanks Isabella!).

Cabinet Meeting at the Palace

Today Victoria and Carl Gustaf held a Cabinet Meeting at Kungliga Slott in Stockholm. The king hold 3-4 cabinet meetings a year where he is informed on what is going on in the government and ask questions. Victoria often attends these meetings with her father as she is heir to the throne.

Victoria rewore a dress from Marc Jacobs which we have not seen on her in a few years- since the time Estelle was born I believe. She also wore her Kreuger Jewellery Earrings.
Tomorrow Madeleine and Silvia will hold an audience at the palace for Bill Gates and Victoria will be in Portugal.

UPDATE: And here is my video showing off my royal book collection! Do you have a collection- please share it with me!

End of a State Visit

Today was the last day of the Indian State visit to Sweden and Victoria, Daniel, Silvia, and Carl Gustaf were all out to finish their role as hosts.

As you can see Silvia and Victoria went with opposite ends of the color spectrum with Victoria in all neutral colors and Silvia sporting every color of the rainbow. Victoria wore a new coat from H&M with her Tabitha Simmons pumps and Chanel clutch. For jewellery she went with her favorite Krueger Jewellery.

Today Victoria met with the National Geographic Society to discuss environment and sustainability, two topics which Victoria is very much engaged in.
