Meeting About UN Global Goals

Victoria met with various politicians today to discuss UN Global Goals following her appointment as one of Agenda 2030's Ambassadors for the Sustainable Development Goals.

Victoria wore her new By Malene Birger Blazer, a Sophie by Sophie necklace and what is most likely Seraphine's Black Maternity Skinny Jeans.

Advisory Council Meeting

Today Victoria joined her father at the Advisory Council meeting held at the Royal Palace. The Advisory Council is a consultative body between the parliament and the government where the King sits in the chair. The Advisory Council is convened on the government and the Constitution states that "The Government shall keep the Advisory Council informed about the foreign policy conditions that may be of importance for the country and discuss with the Board on these as often as needed." Victoria sits on the Foreign Policy Council.

Victoria appears to be wearing her long By Malene Birger blazer with an ASOS maternity Dress.

Victoria at Stockholm Environmental Institute

Today Victoria visited the Stockholm Enviornmental Institute as part of her new appointment to the new "Sustainable Development Goals Advocates" for Agenda 2030.

Victoria wore a new coat (that I feel like I have seen but cannot find now that I am looking for it) over her By Malene Birger Lanoa Blazer. She wore a white button down shirt and wore a pair of boots which Cecile reminded me she wore back in 2012. Johanna at Kungliga Mode Bloggen found that her hair tie is from Corinne. She also carried her Valentino Bag.

Dinner at the Palace

Tonight the Royal Family hosted the first of the years Representationsmiddag- a dinner which they host a few times of years for Representatives from around Sweden. Tonight marked Sofia's first Representationsmiddag since she became a Princess of Sweden. Tonight's dinner is hosted by the King and Queen, with Victoria, Daniel, Carl Philip, and Sofia in attendance. (For those of you missing Madeleine- we will see her in 2 weeks) This is likely to be one of Victoria's last high publicity engagement before she gives birth. The court has said that she is due in early March but I really am thinking that it will be the end of February just like Estelle.

Queen Silvia pulled out one of her red lace gowns- honestly I am not surprised. Over the years of analyzing, reading and studying about the Swedish Royal Family I have come to the educated conclusion that red is one of her favorite colors. Normally I don't mind this gown but with the mismatching shall I am just not a fan of it tonight. Perhaps without the shall it would have been better.

She is wearing the Connaught Tiara for the first time in awhile so she gets redemption points with that. (I love that tiara!) She wore the Karl XIV Johan Diamond Earrings as well as a diamond collet necklace. It was a very Diamondy (is that a word? It should be) ensemble.

Crown Princess Victoria wore one of the two gowns that I wished she would wear- but now I am regretting it. She first wore this gown when she was pregnant with Estelle in 2011.

She carried a new Bottega Veneta clutch (!!) and while I have yet to see a great photo of her shoes, I imagine them to be her grey By Malene Birger pumps. She wore the Baden Fringe Tiara with a pair of earrings that we haven't seen in some time (I think the last time we saw them was Madeleine's Pre-Wedding Party.) I cannot see if they are diamond or crystals but I imagine they are diamonds. The earrings also have a hint of blue in them but I am not a stone expert so I cannot even begin to guess what kind they are! She wore one of the diamond brooches on her sash as well. On her right wrist she wore one of the two Bernadotte Diamond Tennis Bracelets.

Princess Sofia wore a gold shimmering gown which she appears to have borrowed from her friend. (Her friend Olivia- not Carolina like Svenskdam has/was reporting wore it to Carl Philip and Sofia's wedding this summer) The dress was made by Thalia, a brand very familiar with the Swedish Royal Family. Göran Alfredsson, the head designer, created Victoria's 18th Birthday Dress as well as both gowns Sofia wore to Madeleine's wedding in 2013.

She carried her H&M Glitter Clutch and from the very low quality, far away photo I saw she could be wearing her Charlotte Olympia Wedding Shoes. She wore on her sash the gold and pearl brooch that Madeleine wore to the Nobel Ceremony in 2015 and on her right wrist she wore the other Bernadotte Diamond Dennis Bracelet. On her head she wore her Wedding Tiara. I am not a huge fan of this tiara-dress combination but she was given Emeralds- they cannot go with everything! (Side Note: I think Sofia will break into the Bernadotte Jewel Vaults but for now she wants to wear her Wedding Tiara to 1.Get used to having something on your head 2. Show her appreciation for the gift and 3. Because she probably loves it- I mean who doesn't love a tiara of your very own!)
We will see Victoria again on Friday and both, Victoria and Sofia, together next Wednesday.

Meetings at the Palace

Today both Sofia and Victoria held audience at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Sofia held an audience for Pernilla Hillerås- a research director at Sophiahemmet. You will remember that just last week Sofia attended the graduation ceremony for some of the nurses from Sophiahemmet.

Sofia wore a top we first saw back in 2014 which comes from Hunkydory.

Victoria held an audience for Johan Rockström who is a Professor of Environmental Science at Stockholm University. They discussed current environmental concerns as well as Victoria's ambassadorship for Agenda 2030.

Victoria appears to be wearing her By Malene Birger blazer that she debuted last week as well as her Pistol Top from Mayla.

Day 2: State Visit from Tunisia

Today, Victoria and Daniel (as well as Carl Philip, the King, and Queen) attended a lunch  at the State House in Stockholm in relation to the ongoing State Visit from Tunisia. Later in the evening the "squad" (I felt that word was appropriate here) attended the return dinner held by the Tunisian Presidential Couple.

Victoria wore her red bespoke dress from Seraphine which she paired with her black Tabitha Simmons pumps. She carried what appears to me to be a new red clutch. She arrived in her white coat from By Malene Birger. She wore her bow fascinator from Evelina Persson.

Later in the evening for the return dinner, Victoria almost identically copied her outfit from Colombia. She wore her blue dress from ASOS, carried her Alexander McQueen clutch, and wore blue pumps which I believe are from Ralph Lauren.

UPDATED: Day 3 of 5 in Peru and Colombia

Victoria and Daniel began their visit to Colombia today with a visit to the Agency of Reintegration, a program focusing on social reintegration and has a partnership with the Folke Bernadotte Academy in Sweden. Next up they attended the opening of a panel with Swedish Companies at a Swedish Sea Port conference. Their final engagement before attending a lunch hosted by the Swedish Ambassador, was a guided walking tour around the historic center of Cartagena. After lunch they got a tour of the Port of Cartagena. In the evening Victoria and Daniel attended a dinner hosted by the Mayor of Cartagena. I have included 1 photo of each outfit below but you can check out Robin Utrecht's wonderful gallery here for more photos!

Victoria wore a dress from Asos' Maternity Line, her shoes appear to by By Malene Birger. She carried her new (very) large white envelope clutch which (UPDATE) comes from Hippi Grace. When they participated in a walking tour, Victoria switched to sensible flats which come from Tod's.

For those of you who love this dress, they have it in regular sizes as well but it is almost sold out so go check it out here!

Later in the evening, Victoria changed into a blue dress for the reception. While I have no confimation on the designer of the dress yet, I believe it comes from Seraphine. (UPDATE IT DOES INDEED COME FROM SERAPHINE) It looks very similar to this dress they sell. I shall, as always, update the blog when I know. She wore her grey By Malene Birger pumps to match. Her clutch comes from Nancy Gonzalez and her earrings are an old favorite of hers. Unfortunately they are UFO's. (Side note- Huge shoutout to all the Facebook followers who are finding ID's on old pieces worn by our leading Swedish Ladies! You all Rock!)

Victoria honors Folke Bernadotte

Yesterday Victoria held a audience at the Royal Palace as well as attended an exhibit honoring Folke Bernadotte.

Victoria wore her silver jacket from Mayla over a white dress. She wore her Miu Miu pumps again and carried her By Malene Birger clutch. Her bracelet is from Kreuger Jewellery and her earrings I believe are from Chaumet, a pair she has had for quite some time.

Victoria in Green

Victoria attended a seminar today in Stockholm.
Victoria wore her green Moris Lady jacket and a black bag from By Malene Birger. Her necklace comes from Charlotte Bonde and her earrings may as well. Her shoes are her ACNE pumps.

Dinner at the Palace

On Friday, the entire royal family -sans Princess Madeleine- attended the Sverigemiddag at the Royal Palace of Stockholm. This dinner is given once a year since its start in 2013. The King and Queen invite a variety of Swedes from all the counties who have made a contribution to society in some area or another. Last year there were farmers, sports players, and leaders just to give you a few different ideas of who is invited. This dinner is held to recognize their work but also to give the royal family a chance to hear about what is going on in the areas they come from. This dinner is not to be confused with Representationsmiddags which tend to be held twice a year. The Representationsmiddags are a more formal occasion where the jewels are pulled out. The Sverigemiddag is a less formal affair and there are no jewels or orders. Cocktail or long dresses may be worn and normally the family splits it up so at least one person is wearing a short dress.
This year Sofia got the short dress and Victoria debuted her baby bump in a long gown. (Side note- Victoria is pregnant!!!!! Due in March 2016! I was so excited I made myself sick to the point where I thought I was going to pass out!) Silvia always comes in a gown so this was not a surprise to me.

Sofia wore a dress from Dagmar with what appear to be her Saint Laurent Pumps. Everyplace I read about this look, everyone is not a fan. I on the other hand love the dress on her! I think the gold undertone goes splendidly with her hair and I hope she wears it again!

Victoria wore a long gown from Adrianna Papell. She has the short version of this dress as well which she wore not terribly long ago to a dinner at the Haga for one of the charities that their (Daniel and Victoria) wedding fund supports. It looks like she wore her grey By Malene Birger heels to match.

Silvia wore a black dress with a monochrome wrap around it. Again everyone I read seemed not to be a fan but I thought she looked splendid! Best use of this wrap to date. I have always hated when she has worn it in the back but this is a great look for it. However I am not so sure about the brooch she is using to hold it closed. Maybe a diamond one would have looked better instead of her ivory flower.

Victoria in Riga and a baby boy!

Today Victoria was in Riga, Latvia participating in a seminar on the Baltic Sea. Victoria has long been outspoken about the necessary changes that must be made to clean up the Baltic Sea and reduce the waste. This interest of hers most likely came from her father who is also a large advocate for environmental sustainability.

For this visit Victoria wore a dress from Filippa K and a new heart necklace with an old unidentified jacket. Her clutch is from By Malene Birger and her shoes are Miu Miu.

In case you have not heard- Princess Madeleine gave birth to a healthy baby boy this afternoon. Both mother and baby are doing fine and are expected to come home tomorrow. The King and Queen have already visited with the little boy and Leonore was expected to visit as well. Victoria said she was very excited and sent a message through a reporter saying, "I'll be home soon!". No news of the name or Te Deum service have been announced yet.
